Chez Barb

The "First Annual"? Sketchers sleepover was held at Chez Barb.  We were the Apostles of sketching.  About twelve of us brought food and wine to drink, and our pajamas.  We were prepared to spend the afternoon and evening sketching, sleepover and enjoy breakfast in the morning with more sketching.  If you look at the blog of the Whidbey Island Sketchers, you will see more of the the results of our sketching party.
Barb's new house has wonderful collections of statuary, plants, birds nests; all fodder for the still life artist.  She also has many bedrooms that she rents to visiting artists.
Tracy from Calgary was spending a few nights while taking a class at WIFAS.
