We hopped onto the ferry and freeways for a trip to N. California for Thanksgiving with part of the family. This family heats their house with a Lopi stove and the sun. I took advantage of both and sketched the stove, still life's of squash from their garden and even the shadows on the porch.

Initially I was going to sketch this as a black and white, but decided at the last minute to add touches of color. |
